Description
Although these labels include “SP” suffix on labels, the 70 mm (2 3/4″) press ring is inconsistent with a Specialty pressing. The press ring size and the inclusion of “PR SP” in the run-outs may indicate this version was pressed at [l408779] plant using labels printed for the Specialty plant. The 1973 “SP” pressing in MR with similar run-outs also shows this inconsistency – See: [r5607785]. The “RI” (PRC, Richmond) version in MR shows same press ring and includes only “PR”, not “PRC” in run-outs – See: [r1317539].
1975-76 RSO labels with 75 Rockefeller Plaza, NY, NY address and [l141847] logo in white rim print.
